Heat Mat's new underlaminate system was selected to heat the bathrooms of waterside properties at the exclusive The Lakes by Yoo, Coln Park development in the Cotswolds.
The goal:
The Lakes by Yoo is a 650-acre site in the heart of the picturesque Cotswolds with contemporary lakeside homes six lakes. The private estate features waterside retreats with 4,5 or 6 bedrooms with starting prices of over £1m. The developers required high-quality electric underfloor heating systems to complement the premium design elements already specified for the properties. They approached Heat Mat.
The solution:
Heat Mat were asked to provide a solution for heating the laminate floors within the bathrooms with a minimal build height increase, while still offering the full safety earthing that is required in these areas. The unique underlaminate system offers fully earthed heating wires encapsulated in an aluminium and acrylic sandwich to help with the dissipation of heat and with an output of 130w/sqm it is perfectly designed to heat these rooms.
The result:
Heat Mat's underlaminate system perfectly compliments the interior design requirements of Jade Jagger and the Yoo Design Studio being discrete and with minimal build height requirements, whilst still providing luxurious warmth for these exclusive properties.
