New 77 Series “hockey puck” style solid state relays

Finder’s new 77 Series solid state relays deliver high-performance switching in a compact “hockey puck” design. Rated up to 125 A and 660 V AC, they offer fast response times, low leakage current, and exceptional durability, making them ideal for demanding motor, heating, resistive load, and high-inrush applications.

The range includes versions for single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase systems, with a choice of AC or DC control, various current ratings, and two switching modes: Zero-crossing for reduced electrical noise or Random for precise timing control. Designed for easy integration, the SSRs can be mounted on a dedicated heatsink or directly onto a metal cabinet, providing a robust, space-saving solution for modern control systems.

Features include (according to type):

• Single-phase from 25 A to 125 A, and a nominal switching voltage up to 660 V AC.

• Two-phase for panel mounting with two independent output channels of 25, 50 or 75 A, with Random switching and a nominal output voltage of 600 V AC. This SSR can control 2 different loads independently.

• Three-phase for panel mounting from 25 to 80 A, with Random switching – ideal for the fast switching of motor loads.

Modular SSRs

The 77 Series also includes a range of modular solid state relays. The modular 35 mm rail (EN 60715) mount relays (17.5 mm and 22.5 mm) are compact and easy to integrate into control panels. With AC or DC input options, output ratings ranging from 5 A to 30 A, and switching voltages of up to 480 V AC, they offer flexibility for various load types to handle a wide range of applications. With Zero-crossing and Random switching options, ≥6 kV insulation, and LED input indicators, the 77 Series is engineered to maximise system performance and safety.
