Astro PFP FR Acrylic is a fire-rated intumescent acrylic mastic designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through joints and openings in fire-rated walls and floors, including openings around building services. Under fire exposure, it creates a robust fire seal by forming a durable intumescent char. It remains permanently flexible, accommodating joint movement, and maintains the acoustic design performance of the wall or floor. It applies easily with a smooth finish, hardens quickly tack-free after 1 hour and is suitable for most surfaces: concrete, masonry, steel, gypsum, glass, plastics and other non-porous substrates. The product is CE and UKCA approved.
