The PF9415 combines soft starting, motor protection, integrated monitoring and Modbus RTU communication in one compact unit. Designed for 3-phase asynchronous motors up to 20 A, and with a housing width of just 67.5 mm, it offers a practical solution where space is limited but reliable motor control and clear diagnostics are important.

Controlled motor starting in a compact format

As a robust 3-phase controlled soft starter, the PF9415 ensures smooth starting and stopping of the motor. By reducing starting current and limiting torque shock during acceleration, it helps minimise stress on both the motor and the driven equipment. After soft start, the power semiconductors are bypassed by relay contacts to reduce power dissipation within the unit.

Built for reliable motor operation

In addition to controlled starting, the PF9415 includes a wide range of integrated protection and monitoring functions. These include: motor protection to Class 10, phase sequence monitoring, overvoltage and undervoltage monitoring, blockage protection in bypass mode, missing-load detection and temperature monitoring of the power semiconductors. Monitoring of the clockwise rotating field also helps prevent incorrect direction of rotation at start-up.

Modbus RTU for easier commissioning and diagnostics

The integrated Modbus RTU interface supports straightforward set-up, commissioning and diagnostics, while simplifying integration into modern control systems. For engineers and maintenance teams, this means easier access to operating information and fault status for faster troubleshooting.
