New Managing Director for MEP Hire

MEP Hire, the UK’s market-leading building services rental specialist, has appointed David Walkden as its new Managing Director.

Previously Managing Director of TPA, MEP Hire’s sister company at Vp plc, David brings over 20 years’ experience working in the rental sector.

David’s appointment comes as MEP Hire celebrates its 30th year of trading during 2025. Founded in 1995 in Glasgow, specialising in tooling for commercial Mechanical & Electrical and Plumbing installers; MEP Hire now operates from a nation-wide network of 13 branches and stocks over 40,000 Mechanical & Electrical tools and accessories, as well as over 7,900 Low Level Access Machines.
