We market a range of Residential Smoke & Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms for use in domestic properties, and these are supplied via our Electrical Wholesale partners, plus increasingly also via Builders, Plumbing & Heating Merchants.

Range encompasses hard wired Smoke, Heat & CO alarms for professional installation, complemented by Battery Only alarms.
These may have 10 Year Sealed in Batteries, or where cost is an issue, loose replaceable alkaline batteries.

A range of dry powder Fire Extinguishers and Fire Blankets is also available.

Kidde Slick® Hard Wired Smoke & Heat Alarms: upgradeable to wireless interlinking:

This is a range of fast fit alarms, needing no cable harness; the alarm back plate is installed at first fix, and the alarm head can be slid on when all finishing trades have departed from the project.
By substituting the supplied back plate for a Wireless base, interconnection can be achieved without the need to run cabling between each alarm. Wireless is primarily used on retrofit applications, and also adds the ability to have a wireless Remote Test & Hush switch accessory.

This is ideal for elderly or differently abled occupiers.

These alarms can be hard wire interlinked to our hard wired CO alarm range. Smoke alarms are available as either Ionisation or Optical, and with Sealed in Rechargeable Battery Back Up which are Guaranteed for 10 Years. Alternatively alkaline battery back-up is also available at a lower price point.

For rented properties we would always recommend alarms with sealed in tamper proof back-up.

Kidde Firex Hard Wired Smoke & Heat Alarms:

A popular & widely used range of value alarms with either Rechargeable Battery Back Up or loose alkaline, where there are budget constraints. Interconnection on this range is via 3 core & earth cable between the alarms. The design was recently refreshed to complement today’s interiors. Our Firex range can be interlinked to the Slick® range.

Kidde Hard Wired CO Alarms:

Designed to interconnect with the Slick® smoke & heat alarm range, this range comes with Rechargeable Lithium Battery back-up. Available in digital or non-digital versions. They can also be used as stand-alone alarms.

Ten Year Sealed Battery Smoke & CO Alarms:

As used by UK Fire Services, these 2 alarm ranges can be fitted by non-electricians, and all come with a no quibble 10 Year Guarantee. 10 Year CO alarms are unique to Kidde.
