Fitting various switchgear products into a small space was presenting a problem to MD Electrical Contractors Ltd of Glasgow when upgrading premises in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland for the expanding fast food high street chain. Turning to Proteus Industrial Switchgear of Telford to provide a solution, the Proteus team were able to offer a choice of switchboards populated with either standard or compact RCBOs to suit the clients functional requirements.
Settling on the Proteus XL board configured to suit the contractors specification the single board offered an initial saving against several purchases and overall it fitted the space the client wished to allocate.
“The Proteus board was great to deal with,” said David Weir, Contracts Manager of MD, “It offered substantial room to work in and overall gave us a saving. We have used six Proteus boards so far and will continue to use them on these and other similar projects.”
