Elkay and Wired Services Southampton help Brookways School, London in their new Nursery and Pre School Building to save energy on their lighting.

Brookways School in North Cheam London needed a new and larger building for their nursery and preschool children seen in the background with the Atrium roof. They wanted to have automatic control wherever possible.

The installers Wired Partnerships Ltd from Southampton headed up by Nathan Golden needed to find an automatic control PIR that could be mounted in a surface mount box mounted on the ceiling and could allow the loop in and loop out of the cabling across the lighting circuit.

The project switches 600 x 600 surface mount LEDs and emergency lights supplied by Rexel Southampton.

The solution was to supply the Elkay 3 wire Standard PIR (370B-1) throughout the building with some switching individual rooms, lavatories and cupboards and others linked in parallel to switch larger areas like the main hall, dining area and communal corridor areas.
