The Project
The King Edmund School in Rochford, Essex is undergoing a major lighting refurbishment, using NET LED products. The two-year rolling programme will see a switch to LED lighting throughout the school’s internal facilities.
After NET LED Lighting was recommended as a supplier, the team visited the premises and proposed a lighting plan and schedule for the entire building.
The Solution
The lighting refurbishment project has already started, with highly efficient and robust LED T8 Tubes being installed in the school’s main hall and versatile LED Panel Lights installed in the main reception and classrooms. NET LED products have also been installed in the sports hall, swimming pool and main office.
Within the next two years, each light fitting in the school will be replaced with NET LED products.
The Result
The early results of this project have been positive. School staff immediately noticed the improved quality and brightness of light in refurbished areas.
Commenting on the installations, On Site Electrician Tom Betmead said: “The difference has been amazing and the feedback we have received has been fantastic.”
“We are hoping to look at changing our external lighting, once we have completed the internal lighting. NET LED’s products have been easy to install and hassle free.”
