Rolec EV, the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of EV charging points, operates a network of nationwide charge point installation partners covering the whole of the UK.
One of these partners, McNally Electrical, based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, recently completed their 5000th Rolec installation as part of Rolec’s Nationwide Referral Scheme.

The McNally Success Story
Nick McNally, Managing Director of McNally Electrical (Yorkshire), commented: “Approximately three and a half years ago we were asked to install a Rolec EV charging point at Midgley Motors, a Mitsubishi dealership in Yorkshire.
“This was the first EV charge point we had ever seen, let alone installed, and we were surprised how well the works went – and were impressed with the quality of the Rolec product.
“As a result of this first EV charge point installation, we made contact with Rolec EV to enquire as to whether we could become an installation partner in the Yorkshire region.
“Subsequently, within a couple of months, we were installing Rolec EV charging points on a daily basis, resulting in us having to significantly increase our installation workforce to cope with demand.
“In addition to Rolec EV’s constant flow of referrals and projects, we are now marketing ourselves as a nationwide EV charge point installer and are beginning to add our own workload to that of the Rolec projects.
“Rolec have been extremely supportive, providing us with marketing material, technical support, and general advice relating to the EV and EV charging industry.
“A small snapshot of the businesses where we have installed Rolec EV charging points include Teesside University, Edmundson Electrical's HQ, Dulux/AkzoNobel, Norbrook Laboratories, Grundfos Pumps and Shepley Spring.
“We are delighted to have reached our 5,000th Rolec install, which took place as part of OLEV’s subsidised Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) for Marshall Painting Contractors in Gateshead.”
