Rugby club changing rooms get the Airflow treatment
29-04-2015
Airflow Developments has recently installed a range of its Aventa in-line fans at Amersham & Chiltern Rugby Club, which will help to prevent the build up of mould and condensation within the club’s changing rooms.
Amersham & Chiltern Rugby Club in Buckinghamshire is a longstanding club committed to rugby for serious and social players, and has over 1,400 members. As with any sports club, its changing rooms are often confined for long periods of time, and are subject to high levels of steam and odours. Therefore an effective ventilation solution was required.
Airflow, which also sponsors the club, donated and installed 8 Aventa in-line fans to suit varying pipe sizes from 125mm to 200mm. The fans work as part of an ultra quiet, powerful extraction system with an “on-demand” function to provide increased levels of ventilation when necessary.
“The installation of the new fans at the club has been a godsend and makes the rooms so much more pleasant to use,” said Charles Owen-Conway, Chairman of Rugby Amersham & Chiltern RFC. “We are very grateful to Airflow for improving the indoor air quality of the changing rooms.”
