Flex7 Case Study - Hunterian Museum, Glasgow
01-08-2022
Flex7 lighting control products were recently specified for installation in The Hunterian Museum, Glasgow. Flex7 ZoneLite lighting connection and control modules, Scene Setting Plates and Prota plug-in ceiling Roses were used for the project.
The Hunterian Museum was founded in 1807, and is Scotland’s oldest public museum.
The ceilings and walls of the lecture theatres are black with exposed ceilings, so it was specified that all electrical accessories on the project should be supplied in a black finish. Black Prota plug-in ceiling roses were put forward as an ideal solution. They were supplied prewired with black 5-core cable, complete with black decorative covers.
4-way Type G ZoneLite Lighting Control Modules were used. ZoneLite Type-Gs provide options for absence, presence, daylight linking, graduated daylight dimming lighting control, emergency test, corridor hold, last man out switch and scene setting. They come pre-programmed with up to 14 distinct lighting scenarios.
