NET LED welcome back a (famous) familiar face!

NET LED is delighted to announce that Ben Smith has been appointed as Sales Director. He joins the company, from Signify, bringing eight years of experience in selling commercial and industrial LED lighting to electrical wholesalers. Ben will head up NET LED’s Sales Department and be responsible for developing and leading its sales strategy. He will be working closely with Key Accounts and their contractors to deliver lighting projects, supported by our in-house lighting designers.

Commenting on the appointment, NET LED’s Managing Director, Oliver Bubb, said: “We are very excited to be welcoming Ben Smith to the Board and looking forward to the energy, experience and enthusiasm he’s well known for in the industry. He will make a significant contribution to our growth plans and build on our strong reputation for being an online supplier of LED lighting to wholesalers – where we’re known for delivering back-to-back orders very quickly.”

NET LED was founded in 2009 and was one of the UK’s first suppliers of LED technology. It manufactures some of its most popular product ranges at its production facilities in Cambridge and supplies electrical wholesalers throughout the UK, aiming to take the hassle out of buying lighting for them wherever possible.

Regarding his appointment, Ben has said: “NET LED has always been innovative and done things differently to meet wholesalers’ needs.
