The Kitchen Stove Guard’s intelligent fire safety technology provides continuous protection 24/7 and complete peace of mind. It monitors and adapts to the occupiers normal cooking style and tracks the rate of increasing heat (unlike many other kitchen detection systems which rely on either smoke or a visible flame), as a steeply rising temperature is an indication of developing fire hazard.  This means it will guard against kitchen fires because it responds before the formation of toxic gases and before a fire is ignited.

The device’s automatic fault diagnosis constantly analyses the Kitchen Stove Guard’s function when the hob is in use, so no monthly testing is required. An intelligent Heat Sensor Dislocation Alarm also prevents the cooker from being used if the Stove Guard’s sensor has been removed.  The Kitchen Stove Guard will even cut off the electricity supply if the hob has been left on accidentally – the setting for this can be tailored to individual installations.

The Firechief Kitchen Stove Guard System can be installed by a qualification electrician in about 15 minutes.  At present the device works only with Induction hobs.

The Firechief Kitchen Stove Guard fulfils EN50615 Stove Guard standard requirements. The Stove Guard sensor’s battery has a 10-year life and the Stove Guard itself has a 2-year warranty.
