Aluminium bench trunking, cut to length, powder coated grey and populated with outlet boxes with a bespoke designed end cap. Our Special Fabrication department have been busy working on an ongoing project featuring;

With nearly 50 years UK manufacturing experience we have developed innovative ranges such as our Meridian 3 compartment dado trunking and our compact 3 compartment President ACD4 range. This history and expertise built up over the years has enable us to offer an extensive range of bespoke cable management products.

Aluminium Bench Trunking

 Our standard range of bench trunking is available in various options in both PVCu, aluminium and colours. Working closely with our customer, our special fabrication department have been processing an on going bespoke cable management order. Aluminium bench trunking powder coated grey to RAL7035, supplied with a white centre compartment lid and a 20 mm cable entry hole, pre drilled during the manufacturing process. 

Cut to Length

 The order consists of aluminium bench trunking cut to lengths specified by our customer, in this instance 1.5m and 2m. This process saves the installer valuable time on site and also reduces waste. In addition, the lids have been cut, outlet boxes factory fitted and the lids reassembled before despatch. Offering the on-site engineer a much easier and quicker installation.

Bespoke Design & Manufacture

Traditionally, our bench trunking and bench units are supplied as standard with white PVCu end caps. During this project our customer expressed the desire to have steel end caps, if possible. Therefore to ensure our high levels of customer service were maintained the Centaur design team got to work designing a purpose made end cap incorporating a spot welded earth terminal. This design was quickly sent from our Redditch based factory to our sister company, Tamlex Steel Cable Management in Telford who were able to quickly produce the parts. These were then powder coated to match the body of the units and assembled back at the factory.

With the years of experience and investment in the latest design software, tooling and our special fabrication department, we were able to provide our customer with a completely bespoke solution. The resulting order was manufactured to our customers specification and delivered to suit their installation schedule.
