The range of 1 module, 2 pole switching, MCB’s switch phase and neutral conductors all within a single module body. This allows a standard MCB board with a 3 phase busbar to be fully fitted with switched phase and neutral MCB’s, saving a considerable amount of time, space and money.
The new DP MCBs follows the consistent Proteus CPD design therefore they can fitted to any Proteus MCB board. The MCB is fitted to the MCB busbar using the bottom busbar connection screw and the neutral is connected to the neutral bar via a blue “flying lead”. Load cables are terminated at the top of the MCB to terminals marked L out and N out.
This range has a short circuit breaking capacity of 6kA and the thermal / magnetic characteristic is C curve. Finally, to ensure all installations are accomdated for the new DP MCBs are available in the following ratings: 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 25A, 32A, 40A.
