Centaur expand their unique range of dry lining boxes with spring loaded lugs by introducing a circular product for ceiling applications. A generous depth of 45 mm and the facility to grip ceiling tiles thicknesses from 9 to 31 mm are just two of this product’s many features.
Not only do the lugs spring helpfully up behind the ceiling tiles but they expand to offer over 143 mm of support across the 70 mm of required cut-out. This level of support far exceeds the standard requirements of accommodating suspended loads of up to 3 kilos.
Two 20 mm entry knock-outs are provided in the base should conduit entry glands be used and both box and lugs are manufactured in self-extinguishing PVCu.
No matter what tile thickness is encountered two 40 mm long fixing screws are also provided that pick up the brass threads in the lugs which are on standard BESA 50.8 mm fixing centres.
