Hamilton has unveiled an all-new weatherproof wiring accessory range called ‘Elemento’. With an IP66 rating (excluding the RCD outlets), its robust high impact UV stable housing design is both stylish and functional, and incorporates an easy-to-open latch that ensures the integrity of the seal. Elemento options encompasses a wide range of accessories making it the ideal product choice for all outdoor electrical requirements.
Gavin Williams, Marketing Manager for Hamilton explains: “An explosion in demand for creative outdoor lighting plus the ever growing need to install safety and security lighting presented us with an opportunity to bring our electrical accessory expertise to this sector. As with all our new products we have taken a totally different approach to traditional design and come up with innovative and creative solutions.”
Within all Elemento products is a scientifically formulated gel seal that protects the socket; making it suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor environments where devices will be at risk from penetration by water, dust and small particles. Applications include factories, laboratories, swimming pools, commercial kitchens, warehouses and more. The 2-gang switched socket outlet is a lockable design - suitable for use in public areas where restricted/authorised and safe access to power is required, such as in marinas and playgrounds.
Elemento is easy to install, it has convenient white on black terminal markings and requires only one size of screwdriver for installation.
Elemento’s polycarbonate housing is both durable and impact resistant, and it will not discolour, fade or crack and operates in extremes of hot and cold.
