Heat Mat launches a bespoke service

Heat Mat, the electric underfloor heating and ice and snow melting specialists, has launched a bespoke service offering tailor-made systems to meet specifiers needs.

Following various manufacturing projects where a custom-made system was required, Heat Mat has decided to roll out a bespoke technical specification and production service to all customers.

Made-to-order heating mats, cables, mirror demisters and accessories are now available for new construction and retrofit projects.

Electric underfloor heating mats can be produced at custom outputs, sizes or shapes depending on the installation requirements or design of the space to be heated. Mats can also be manufactured with extended cold-tail connections or modifications to the mesh the cable is attached to.

Robust bespoke heating cables are also available with extended cold-tails, custom outputs per linear metre or in custom lengths to make installation quicker.

Bespoke towel warming mats, wall heating mats and mirror demisters can be produced to fit a project requirement or interior design proposal. Bespoke cable modifications are particularly relevant to super-insulated properties, close to, or meeting, passive house standards, where very low output heating systems are required.

Specialist concrete curing cables and cables for use beneath hot tarmac in driveway heating systems are also available for use on new developments.  

The bespoke service allows greater flexibility for new-build projects or situations where a specialist system is required. Heat Mat manufactures all their heating systems in Western Europe (Denmark, Germany or the UK), with many products hand-made in BEAB approved factories by expert technicians.
