Open Day

On June 21st Hire Station’s new Swansea branch hosted an Open Day. The branch was in tip top condition and the yard area was full with suppliers. The suppliers’ - Husqvarna, Makita, Lyte, Demon, Belle and Actavo all had equipment and information on display.

The weather was great and a steady stream of visitors visited the branch across the day. As a result, the branch took several enquiries on the day which have since resulted in a hires for several items as well as some sales, Fence Panels and even an enquiry for the sale of a Diesel Pressure Washer.

Another positive to the day is that due to all of the invites and the marketing about the day, a lot more people are aware of Swansea’s presence in the area which should hopefully result in additional enquiries in the near future, and new local customers.

Feedback from some of those that attended mentioned that the event was very good in particular the hog roast (which went down very well) and all were impressed with the supplier displays and the standard of the branch as well as the range of new kit available. We would like to thank the suppliers (Husqvarna, Makita, Lyte, Demon, Belle and Actavo) that attended and for their support of such an important branch opening for us.

Everyone who attended left with a card, account form, catalogue, information from suppliers and a belly full of hog roast. Some even left the open day as winners: There was a raffle on the day to celebrate the branch opening. The draw was made from a selection of business cards left on the day and some of the prizes were donated by suppliers.
