Introducing the latest addition to our range of EV distribution boards: the IP65 rated metalclad distribution unit from Proteus. Now available, this unit comes pre-populated with either a B or C curve 40A double pole type A, single pole and switched neutral, bidirectional RCBOs and type 2 surge protection as standard, or pre-configured to your request – the unit is also available as an empty 5 module enclosure.
This range is an ideal solution for all 7.2kW home charging installs. Now available exclusively to CEF, adding even more convenience to your EV installations. A selection of knockouts have been added to the unit to make installation straight forward, whilst noting that due care and attention should be taken to maintain IP rating throughout the installation.
Additionally, the unit has internal, colour-coded, numbered earth and neutral bars included which means the installation is as quick and efficient as possible. There are also rubber seals provided to cover the 4x fixing positions in the base on the unit, thus maintaining the IP rating of the unit.
