Leading cable management manufacturer, Marshall-Tufflex has officially started their journey to Net Zero. On Friday 28th July they held a launch event with their staff in Hastings, Watford and Manchester where, Managing Director, Jon Chamberlain talked about the journey ahead.

"We believe it is our responsibility to protect the environment and that’s why we are starting this drive to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. As a starting point, we will plant five trees today. They will be the symbol of our journey to Net Zero and when the trees grow we will benefit from the shade and fresh air and remember how we started this project. As individuals, we can all contribute to the Net Zero Project, each department has a mission to see what can be done to reduce and achieve the project goals and by working together, we can create a more sustainable future for our planet."

Marshall-Tufflex has demonstrated their responsibility to sustainability in recent years through their commitment to recycling by using PVC-U originating from windows within their manufacturing process. They have also taken a number of steps to reducing carbon emissions, including a new fleet of electric lithium-ion battery forklift trucks and the installation of electric vehicle charging points at their head office in Hastings.

Jon concluded, “We know that we can’t achieve net zero emissions on our own. That’s why we are calling on our employees, customers and partners to join us on this journey. Together, we can make a difference.”
