Marshall-Tufflex’s sleek and modern power and data services solution, PowerPoles, have delivered the right mix of style, versatility and price for a Blue Chip manufacturing company’s new headquarters in business and retail hub Logistics North, Bolton.
Sophisticated and elegant, PowerPoles provided the ideal choice for the offices of the company’s new premises, delivering power and data services to island and non-perimeter work stations. Installed by W Portsmouth & Co from Luton, a total of 170 white double-sided Series 1 PowerPoles were fitted, together with RCD/MCB housing and accessory boxes, all supplied by wholesaler BEW Electrical, Bedford.
“The product looks clean and modern compared to equivalent systems on the market, not to mention appropriately priced,” said Luke Royce, Contracts Manager at W Portsmouth & Co.“Thanks to its versatility any re-design costs will also be minimal, allowing the client to be flexible and ensure the space works around its needs. Installation was easy too. The PowerPoles were delivered containing all the relevant components along with instructions on final assembly. The instructions were simple to understand and our installation team enjoyed working with the product,” concluded Mr Royce.
Logistics North is one of the largest commercial developments in the North of England. Boasting state-of-the-art facilities, the £45 million project includes four million square feet of distribution and manufacturing space and is home to shops, business units and a country park.
About Marshall-Tufflex’s PowerPoles
PowerPoles (and PowerPosts) are used for the management of power, data and communication services to island and non-perimeter work stations. They provide a service pathway between the floor and ceiling and are flexible enough to suit varying layouts.
Made from fine tolerance extruded aluminium alloy and finished with silver anodised or white powder coating as standard, PowerPoles are attractive, complement interior design schemes and offer greater efficiency in cable management control, eliminating unsightly and potentially hazardous trailing cables.
