Ricoman launches the R2 Fire Rated Downlight

RICOMAN introduces the next generation of dimmable LED downlights incorporating an innovative and incredibly simple dimming function: flick your switch once and 100% light output is achieved. Then, if you flick the switch off and back on within 2 seconds, light output decreases to 50%; to drop down to 10% simply flick the light switch off and on again within 2 seconds. It couldn’t be more simple, easy and straightforward; there is no need for a new switch, no compatibility issues and it is easier for the end user.

R2Dimming comes as standard with the new R2 Fire Rated Downlight, which is the brainchild of RICOMAN's Managing Director, Liang Gao. Frustrated with the LED industry's compatibility issues with dimming he visualized a dimmable downlight which would work with any switch, that was more affordable and at the same time benefiting from an IP65 rating and fire protection. After meticulous research, testing, prototyping and improvements, the vision turned into reality and the original idea was executed in the RICOMAN factory, resulting in the innovative R2 Fire Rated Downlight.  

Apart from the unique dimming function, the 8W R2 Fire Rated Downlight boasts an IP56 protection and Bridgelux LED CoB light source which ensures an efficacy of 85 Lm/W and a long life. This product is packed with versatility as it comes in 3000K or 4000K and the product package contains three easily interchangeable bezels in white, chrome and gun metal. Other types of dimming as well as emergency are also offered. All this combined with the 5-year RICOMAN warranty, ensure compatibility with a variety of applications and complete peace of mind.
