Deta are excited to announce the introduction of the S12882 USB Outboard Rocker Socket and S1297 Lockable Socket.

Joining the well-established and ever popular Slimline range, these two products will unlock new wiring solutions for Slimline installers to satisfy project requirements.  

Introducing the USB Outboard Rocker Socket (S12882) 

The latest USB Socket addition to the Slimline range, the S12882 utilises the same high specification and flexible USB charging solution as the S1288 USB Socket but with the outboard rockers replacing inboard rockers.  

Delivering up to 4.0A simultaneous charging current, the new S12882 is equipped with one Type C USB and two Type A USB ports to offer a flexible USB charging solution. IC technology incorporated within the USB module detects connected devices and automatically optimises charging to ensure efficient high-speed charging of devices. 

The new USB Outboard Rocker Socket (S12882) is available now with a 2 year-guarantee. 

Introducing the Lockable Socket (S1297)  

The first lockable socket in the Slimline range, the S1297 provides an ideal solution for domestic and commercial applications to restrict socket usage to key holders. 

The lockable socket utilises a barrel lock operated switch, in place of a switch on a standard sockets. A key is used to activate and deactivate the socket outlet by unlocking and locking the barrel lock.  

Lockable sockets are typically used as a cleaners socket for vacuum cleaners in flat corridors and stairs, shopping centres and hotels. By limiting power output to key holders, the Lockable Socket can be installed in public spaces without the worry of unauthorised use by general public.
