Established in Kilmarnock, Scotland in 2017, under the expert direction of Robin Forsyth, FuseBox has an impressive pedigree in the Circuit Protection sector, dating back to 1996. Now with a twenty-strong team of design, assembly, and distribution specialists, based at our Kilmarnock site, FuseBox is going from strength to strength.
As specialists in low-voltage Circuit Protection solutions for the current wiring regulations, FuseBox is fast becoming the consumer unit of choice for electricians throughout the UK and Northern Ireland - with the majority of sales to date generated through personal recommendation.
FuseBox: ‘Making electricians smile’
Everything we do at FuseBox is underpinned by our ambition to make the work of electricians easier and more enjoyable. We achieve this through a focus on simplicity.
Design
FuseBox consumer units are designed with the electrician in mind. A simple functional design, aesthetically pleasing to the eye, while the neat internal layout provides the space for even the biggest of hands to get to work.
The range comprises 6, 10, 14, 18, 24, 28, 36 and 54 module enclosures formed from zinc galvanized steel, powder coated in a smooth RAL 9001finish in single, double and triple bank variations. Features include factory fitted T2 surge protection, earth and neutral bars at the top of the unit and a removable and raised DIN rail.
Matching range of Circuit protection devices includes an extensive range of RCDs, RCBOs, MCBs, SPDs, AFDDs plus numerous accessories.
Quality
The robust build of FuseBox products provides electricians with the peace of mind that they will stand the test of time, both during and after installation. Our strict quality control protocol ensures that the highest standards are upheld.
User friendly
With the spacious design allowing room for hands to install and test with ease and plenty of space for cables to be routed neatly, FuseBox consumer units also feature a choice of knockouts (20-32mm) to enable the electrician to select the perfect sized cable apertures for the supply and final circuits.
Safe
All FuseBox consumer units are of metal construction (galvanized to prevent rusting) which conform to BS EN61439-3, and BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 compliant. All products are designed, independently tested by Intertek (SEMKO), and certified to UKCA (UK Conformity Assessment), CE and European Standards.
